Management at AdaptBio Gas AD plant in Murrow, near Peterborough, has approved Geo Therm Ltd’s return in April. The site produces biomethane from biodegradable waste, which is exported to the National Grid.
Geo Therm Ltd’s thermographic survey will assist the maintenance team in reducing downtime and meeting insurance requirements by identifying hot-spots in energized systems. Their reports will guide corrective actions, ensuring continuous site performance and biomethane production.
The AdaptBio Gas site helps reduce UK greenhouse gases with its five digesters and one after digester, producing 1200 Sm3/hour from cattle muck, feed residues, and some energy crops. The nutrient-rich digestate by-product is reused by farmers to enrich their soils.
